Year 3.
Hello peoplleeeee
Well this is it. It's been 2 years and 10 days. I'll be released next Wednesday, and return home Sunday the 16th.
My REAL final message apart from this little email will be given in-person at a sacrament meeting on March 9th. Yall better show up.
Anyways here is my final testimony in papers before ya get my final testimony in-person:
Id just like to say that being called to represent the Lord and His church to God's children has been the most rewarding and growth inducing experience in my life. I am so glad that God trusts his kids to do such important things.
I know that Jesus Christ is God's son. I know that through his atonement He has the power to save us. His Gospel is how we access that saving power.
I testify that Jesus Christ's gospel, although lost for many years, has been restored by the prophet Joseph Smith, who was called by Jesus Christ. I testify that the Book of Mormon is God's word to a branch of Israel and that their words have been preserved for us. Seriously man if you read that thing it's undeniably real and for us. It is through the Holy Spirit I've felt while reading that book that I can say and do these things.
I'd like to say to anybody desiring to serve the Lord, whether as a full-time missionary or as an everyday disciple of Christ, that you can have 100% confidence in God's word.
When God calls, you can follow his voice without a doubt.
It's funny to me how there are so many prophets (Enoch, Moses, Jeramias, Joseph Smith ect) who start off their story getting called by God, and one of their first thoughts can be "wait a second Lord, you sure you called the right person here?"
But don't worry because guess who is the only person who knows you better than you? YOUR HEAVENLY FATHER! Therefore, God knowing you're potential way better than you do, he is the one worthy of telling you what you can do. Not yourself.
So chill out and keep the commandments and you're gunna be fine son.
It is after doing what God asks that we recieve every one of the best things we can recieve in life and in Eternity.
This may look like the end but we are just getting started 💪✊️
Así que no se precupe. Solo acupase.
God loves you all a ton. I do too.
- Con amor, Elder Johnson
