*Tiny child in the distance continues to approach full speed with shiny objects in hand*

 Wazaaaaap

Things are going well here. Transfers came and went and thankfully I get to stay in my area with my companion Elder Adcock, the only difference is now we´re Zone Leaders. Which has honestly been super cool, having more responsibilities and more missionaries to help out definitely gives motivation to try to do better and be better. Aight now onto some STORIES

Alan tries to kill us
There's a little 4yr old kid in one of the families we ́re teaching named Alan who´s eight thousand percent hyperactive at every hour of every day. The first day we taught his family, while we were teaching the lesson he just stayed busy by picking up the cat, throwing it at the wall, and then chasing it down and doing it again. Another day we came by and he walks up to a dog as tall as he is and just starts kicking it in the crotch and wrestles it to the ground and cusses at it. The best tactic I´ve found to keep him from attacking us in the same way he did the dog is asking him how fast he can run and then watching him sprint up and down the street. One night we were talking with his family in the street and he crawls over to me spread out on all fours spiderman style, looks up at me, and he's like *I pee like the dogs" *Proceeds to pee on the concrete while on all fours* Anyways, he's a fun little dude.
Then one evening as we were walking down the long narrow street to his house, we see this little figure in the distance start sprinting towards us. It´s late enough that it´s starting to get a little dark, and he´s far enough away we can't really make out who it is or why they would be running, but as he gets closer I say to my companion "Is that Alan?" *Tiny shirtless sprinting child continues approaching at full speed, head tilted forward, barefeet and little arms swinging back and forth in a blur* "No that can't be him" *Scary child rapidly continues to get closer* "Oh no, yeah that's him" *Alan is now close enough to make out two shiny objects in his hands as he continues to sprint towards us* At this point in my experience with Alan I don´t think theres anything we can rule out, and the thought just pops into my head: "Uh, what if those are knives?" *It is now clear this is Alan and that we are his target* "OH NO!!"
Nah he just had two shiny plastic things. We definitely thought we were gunna die for a second though.

A cool lesson from the past while
Recently we had a lesson with Sarah, with the help of a member about The Gospel of Jesus Christ. In the end, this church member bore her powerful testimony to Sarah about how she´s come to learn that we will always have problems and difficulties in life, but the difference is whether we choose to have God with us when things get hard. She bore her testimony about how she has seen power and miracles in her life by living the covenants that she´s made with her Heavenly Father through Baptism and temple covenants. She talked about the miracle of her children, of her son choosing to serve a mission, and how she's seen him change as he learns to give his life to God. This dear woman we were teaching began to cry and tell us where she was when she first got in contact with us, how even with the good people around her and with her family she was in this place of loneliness. She needed support. And that as we´ve visited her and taught her and answered her questions she´s felt peace and she has received support from her Heavenly Father.
Man, that was cool. I just gotta say that Jesus Christ´s Gospel is real and that his teachings really do what God said they'd do. It really is the way that God's children can find enduring peace and joy on Earth, and the path whereby we can truly obtain the fullness of our glorious eternal potential. I promise it's worth the effort to read the testaments that we have of the living God. Read the Book of Mormon, it was written by ancient prophets as another testament of Jesus Christ, specifically for our dispensation in time. God does listen to you, he loves you, and he has greater things for you.
